The five details that decide the price
Most slow or inaccurate quotations trace back to the same missing information. These are the items to include.

Add anything that constrains the layout
- Whether operators need access from all four sides, which affects the support design.
- Whether the table has to be moved between bays, which affects whether castors or fixed feet suit better.
- Whether a crane or hoist will place parts on the table, which affects access and handling clearances.
- Whether the table will be used as a measuring reference, which raises the required flatness grade.
- Whether the environment is damp or wash-down, which affects the surface finish choice.
Say what you are welding
The process matters for two reasons. Heavier welding with high heat input puts more distortion into the assembly, which changes how much the positioning accuracy of the table actually contributes to the finished part. It also affects how much spatter protection the surface needs.
You do not need to write a process specification. One line is enough: the material, the thickness range and whether it is manual or automated welding.
What not to put in the enquiry
Do not ask for a price on "a welding table" without a size. There is no single price for the product category — a 1000 x 800 mm table and a 4000 x 2000 mm table are different machines with a different machining cost, and any figure given without dimensions will have to be revised.
Also avoid specifying a hole system and a set of accessories from different series. They will not fit together, and the correction comes after the quotation.
