Signals you can verify before ordering
The strongest signal is workshop evidence: photos and video of actual production — machining, inspection, crating — rather than catalogue renders. A supplier that manufactures shows the floor, because the floor is the claim. BECO publishes recent production photos and workshop clips for exactly this reason, along with the registered legal entity and address that a purchase contract needs.
The second signal is process documentation. A supplier that makes its own tables can describe the sequence — fabrication, stress relief, shot blasting, five-face machining, inspection, treatment, packing — because it runs that sequence every week.
Specification transparency
A quotable table is a specified table. The quotation should state the hole system (D16, D22, D28 or D36), the hole type, the spacing, the flatness grade together with the reference area, the surface treatment and the platform height. A quotation that only says "3D welding table, size on request" cannot be compared against another quotation, because the machining routes differ.
BECO quotes from the drawing or the workpiece description, and the confirmed drawing is what production follows. If a supplier will not put the flatness grade in writing before you pay, that tells you how disputes will go afterwards.
The batch guarantee
For multi-table orders the question is simple: what happens to tables two and three? A supplier that builds batches against one confirmed drawing can promise the second table matches the first — same hole system, same grade, same treatment. Ask directly, because batch consistency is what makes tooling, fixtures and setup sheets transferable across the set.
Accessory matching
- Does the supplier quote accessories against the table hole system, so clamps and pins fit on arrival?
- Is the range complete across clamping, locating, connecting and support families?
- Are kits available, or only single items that you have to size yourself?
- Will the supplier check fit against tooling you already own before you order?
Ten questions to send any supplier
- Which faces are machined and carry the hole grid — top only, or five faces?
- What hole diameters, spacings and hole types are available?
- What flatness grade is held, over what reference area, and how is it checked?
- What materials and platform heights are standard versus on request?
- Is the surface treatment applied after machining?
- What is the production sequence from welding to packing?
- What guarantee covers batch consistency across multiple tables?
- What exactly is included with the table — platform only, or accessories itemised?
- Who is the legal entity on the contract, and where is production located?
- What is the delivery time from drawing confirmation?
How BECO answers
BECO Welding manufactures platforms, fixtures and custom weldments in one workshop in Botou, Hebei. Tables are built to confirmed drawings in D16/D22/D28/D36 systems with 50 or 100 mm spacing, flatness from 0.1 to 0.02 mm/m², treatments including plasma nitriding applied after machining, and accessories matched to the hole system from a range of 188 SKUs. Delivery is typically around 10 days from confirmation. Every claim on this list is documented elsewhere on this site, which is the point: a supplier answer you can check is worth more than a supplier promise.
